Materials and cleaning
The indoor furniture consists of two parts; an inner beanbag and a removable cover. The outer cover comes in three different fabric varieties. In the catalogue, you can see which models come in which fabrics. The idea of dividing the product into FILLING + INNER BAG + OUTER COVER is to make the product more long-lasting, as the outer cover can easily be replaced or washed as needed. All materials can thus be recycled or repaired independently of each other. In addition, the inner beanbag can also be refilled if it becomes flat over time or you can reuse the filling for another product.
TRIMM’s furniture is made from SUNBRELLA PLUS ® which is a performance material, originally designed for boats. Therefore SUNBRELLA PLUS ® is extremely waterproof, thanks to the acrylic coating on the backside (It is three times more water repellant than any other outdoor materials from Sunbrella). At the same time, SUNBRELLA PLUS ® is breathable, which prevents condensation and moist. It has maximal resistance against mold because the acrylic coating contains a special fungus killing mixture of saltwater.
SUNBRELLA PLUS ® is also UV resistant and the color fastness is an 8 on a scale from 1-10, where 10 is the best.
The material doesn’t need any other maintenance than simple cleaning. It is very easy to maintain, and most stains can be removed with water and mild soap. For more stubborn stains, bleach can be used, without fear of damaging the fabric or removing the color. One of the best ways to keep the fabric nice is to keep of the deep cleaning by maintaining the fabric correctly. This can be done by brushing off the dirt, before it soaks in, and wipe off stains when they happen.
NOTE: When receiving your new outdoor products, you might experience light marks on the fabric surface. This is residue from the back coating of the fabric and is a part of the overall expression of the furniture. It will however fade out and disappear over time and when used regularly.

Deep or Stubborn Stain Cleaning
If stubborn stains or mildew persist, you can use a diluted chlorine bleach/soap mixture for spot cleaning of mildew or other similar stains. Protect the area around the Sunbrella fabric when using a bleach solution – bleach may discolor non-Sunbrella fabrics. Always rinse Sunbrella thoroughly in order to completely remove bleach.
HAND WASH: Mix 4 ounces (1/2 cup) chlorine bleach with ¼ cup of mild soap and one gallon of water. Clean with a soft bristle brush. Allow mixture to soak into the fabric for up to 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly until all soap residue is removed. Allow airing dry. Repeat if necessary.
